A time for celebration in Sept

 Celebrating my only daughter's birthday.

A new beginning

Her entry in IG touched me.  She will be my daughter in law by 26 September.  May their love for each other grows and thrives through the years.

Notebook 24 August 2026

I am of the age when any eventuality can happen.  Let's say now I am grateful for everyday I am alive and can still enjoy the world around me.

To ease my children's transition into a life without their mother, I have left them a notebook.  This will be updated if there are changes when I am still around.

Most of all, I want them to know the tremendous love I have for them, although I am at the same time not the best mother I can be. I do not have much money and inheritance for them.  What I leave behind will be the memories we all share together.   I hope they will treasure their memories with their mother forever.

My lively back lane

While most of my neighbours choose to ignore their back lanes, I choose to fill my back lane with excess plants from my front yard and other discarded plants that are still alive but dumped by the roadside in my neighbourhood.

Which is a better picture?

Thunbergia Erecta aka King's Mantel or Bush Clock Vine in my front yard.

Which is a better picture?  Pic A or Pic B?

I am the Queen of the Night!

In velvet dusk she wakes unseen,

A fleeting star in midnight’s sheen.

Her petals whisper, soft and white,

A breath of moon, then gone from sight.
