人生只有兩件事,1,照顧好子女,不要讓他們日後成為社會的負擔。2,照顧好自己,不要讓自己日後成為子女的負擔

We can decide to look forward
As we know, change is the one constant in our lives. There are changes that we look forward to, changes that we fear and changes that we feel so sad about. However, things will not stay the same no matter how much we would like them to.
I suppose we have two choices. We can continue to feel despair about the change or we can decide to look forward at the new possibilities that the change presents.

She was stronger alone
“She was stronger alone…”
“I'll never forget how the depression and loneliness felt good and bad at the same time. Still does.”

The little boy and the old man
Source: Compassion for the Elderly
The Little Boy and the Old Man ~ by Shel Silverstein
Said the little boy, "Sometimes I drop my spoon."
Said the old man, "I do that too."
The little boy whispered, "I wet my pants."...
"I do that too," laughed the little old man.
Said the little boy, "I often cry."
The old man nodded, "So do I."
"But worst of all," said the boy, "it seems
Grown-ups don't pay attention to me."
And he felt the warmth of a wrinkled old hand.
"I know what you mean," said the little old man.

Hard Work!
I have no Napoleonic dream. I'm just hard-working and pragmatic.
- Roman Abramovich
Happiness is the real sense of fulfillment that comes from hard work.
Joseph Barbara
Life is not a continuum of pleasant choices, but of inevitable problems that call for strength, determination, and hard work

Points to ponder
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.” ― Bil Keane
There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will.
